Danielle here. My little brother, Zach, married an amazing girl, Caitlin, on September 1st all the way out in Indiana at the school where they first met (in algebra class!). And talk about a match made in heaven- they are just beyond perfect for each other. There’s no doubt that from their wedding photos (and their engagement photos) that even a stranger can tell how goofy, genuine, overly expressive, and comfortable they are with each other. Zach is the loudest, funniest, most expressive, and genuine person I know. How did he find someone just like him (minus the loudness…I enjoy how not-loud you are Caitlin). He was the only one who could make me laugh when we were little kids. Now he’s all grown up…sniff sniff. Anyways, back to the happy (more like ecstatic) couple. It was an event-packed weekend with the bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and then the wedding. Since I was in the bridal party, Zach’s friend, Rachel, was kind enough to assist Justin on the wedding day. They whole day went so smoothly, minus the rain that caused the ceremony to be moved indoors, but they both handled that glitch like champs 😉 . The day began with Caitlin’s beautiful up-do, courtesy of my Dad. Then, my sister, Brianna, her sister, Anna, and I all spent some quality sister-time together as we practiced walking down the aisle in our 5 inch heels (ahh!).  We met up with the rest of the bridesmaids and assembled our bouquets from Caitlin’s home-grown flowers (soo beautiful!). Meanwhile, all the guys met at friend’s house to eat, get dressed, and take some groomsmen photos! Then, all the girls finished getting ready at The Chestnut House Bed & Breakfast, where I did Caitlin’s makeup. Finally…time to get hitched! The ceremony service was beautiful from the music to Mr. Parks’s message (Caitlin’s Dad and the officiant) to Zach (followed by my whole family) crying as he caught sight of his bride for the first time. The reception was full of laughter. Zach pulled out Listerine strips as the guests clinked their glasses and placed one in each of their mouths (typical Zach). The mother-son dance began with the Godfather theme song and switched to Aretha Franklin’s Respect. And the photobooth, also shot by one of Zach’s friends, was a big hit! The night ended as the bride and groom ran through a sea of bubbles and balloons to their getaway car. On to the honeymoon! Zach & Caitlin, we wish you all the best. May your life together be full of love, joy, laughter, and the fun ridiculousness that you have always known! We love you!
