We met Jordan this past summer on our anual trip to Guatemala. I know that makes it sound like she is from Guatemala….
she’s not… She was one of the 12 who went with us to Guatemala to serve at a feeding program. You can check out some of the photos here. Anyhow, Jordan is a ton of fun and she quickly became good friends with Danielle and I. Now when you look at these you might not think “Senior portraits”- That’s because Jordan has awesome taste and didn’t want the cliché senior photos everyone generally takes. Her mom, Mandy, who is also awesome was cool enough to go along with it. I loved this shoot in particular because Jordan was up for anything and being able to shoot in her “natural environment” at home made it so much more personal for her. Everything you see here from the desk to the abandoned house at the end were all shot in her house and neighborhood. I think it makes it much more special when later down the road you pull out your old photos to show your family and the location and props actually have some significance in your life.
