Shannon and Mark were married at the Mahoney State park just outside of Omaha, Nebraska where Shannon’s family is from. Typically, one of the problems commonly encountered when getting married out of state is getting all your vendors and locations squared away from a distance. Sometimes the process can be very impersonal and one of the things we always strive for is a very personal experience from beginning to end with our couples. After all, out of all of the vendors at your wedding we are going to be spending the most time with you. So one of the benefits of bringing your photographers with you is you get to meet each other ahead of time and hang out during your engagement session. We were old pals by the time we saw each other on the big day. The Mahoney State Park was very quaint complete with log cabins and wood stoves, all backed up to a river- the perfect backdrop for an early fall wedding. We especially loved climbing the big observation tower which had us swaying back and forth in the wind as Mark and Shannon held on for dear life. 🙂
Erin O'Brien - Mahoney’s perfect, isn’t it? What a beautiful place for a wedding — your photos turned out wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
