Keren & Derek’s wedding started out as most do with a busy wedding party excitedly hustling to get the couple ready for their First Look. Well, shortly after bringing Keren outside to meet Derek, I got the bright idea to get a bird’s eye view of their First Look by jumping up on top of the arbor near the dock where the couple would be meeting for the first time. To make a long story short, the arbor broke under my weight and I fell about 8 feet right onto my left wrist- right arm protecting my camera on the way down of course.:-) Now this is the part where you go “GASP!” what happened to the rest of the wedding? Well, I learned something long ago that no man is an island… and we have built our company around this concept and always surround ourselves with excellent people who will have your back in a situation like this. So, Ian & Lexi to the rescue! As you can see from our images, they didn’t miss a beat :-). But on to the important stuff. (Now bear in mind, they had to catch me up since I spent the majority of the wedding in the hospital.) The Talisman Farm was an amazing and unique location for the majority of Keren and Derek’s portraits with their bridal party. Complete with vineyard, beach, and an old farm house, the grounds were absolutely perfect for pictures. Their ceremony, officiated by Keren’s Brother, was held on the water at the Kent Island Yacht Club. And after an incredibly sweet speech by Keren’s dad, they danced the night away, including rocking out on some inflatable guitars.
enjoy!
