I love what we do because of couples like Kimmi and Chad. I first met these two on the morning of their wedding (besides our short skype call a few weeks earlier), which is a rare occurrence. Kimmi had bumped into Josh at one of our artwalks in Fort Lauderdale and the two got to talking and next thing I know I’m on a plane to photograph their amazing wedding in St Lucia. We instantly clicked when we met. Not only are they the nicest people you would ever meet, but so genuine and fun loving. Many people who are just reading a blog post or just coming to our site for the first time don’t know this, but we love it when we become friends with our clients. We work with some of the most amazing people on the planet and usually on the best day of their lives, so it’s quite an experience just to be able to catch a little piece of their story or get to spend just a few hours becoming part of their family. Kimmi told me shortly after the wedding that she was counting on a one year anniversary shoot and I couldn’t wait. See, Kimmi’s taste is just like mine photographically. So basically this is one of my favorite shoots to date. I think I enjoyed it more than they did. Can’t wait till next year guys … and many more.
