I took backroads all the way up to Downingtown for Hali + Will’s engagement because I didn’t want to hit Fathers Day Weekend traffic on 95, and trust me, there was a lot of it. The whole way I was thinking, if their farm is half as beautiful as the drive up here, it’s going to be a great day. I also had the time to think, that honestly the best engagement sessions are the ones that are iconic and true to what you as a couple are like. What could be more perfect then photographing Hali + Will on Will’s historic family farm, with Hali’s horses, hanging out with their puppy? It was perfect. We climbed into the summer wheat field, grabbed some waters in their farm house, walked the tree lined driveway, and took the horses out. Every time I look through these, I’m endlessly impressed that Hali hopped up…on her horse… all in a dress. She’s amazing. What’s equally amazing is Hali + Will’s love for each other. You can just feel it when you’re with them. Their funny, and warm, and hospitable. I could have spent the whole day with them on their farm, so lucky for me, I’ll be back there for their wedding in September!
Congrats guys! Can’t wait for your big day!
