Glen Gordon Manor Wedding | Lacy & John

An Intimate Experience At This Glen Gordon Manor Wedding

Naturally, wedding day revolves around the bride and groom. As a wedding photographer, capturing every moment of their special day is my number one priority. It’s my sole purpose for being there. Lacy & John’s wedding was slightly different in this respect. They welcomed me into the inner circle, inviting me into their celebration beyond my role as their wedding photographer. That was very special.

There were roughly 30 guests at Lacy & John’s wedding with three tables at the reception. I had a seat at one. 🙂 Being invited into the inner circle like this is not something us wedding photographers are often afforded. It truly made the experience all the more intimate. I was able to connect with the bride & groom and their family on a personal level and I feel that really shows in the photography.

Another really cool aspect of this wedding was my wife’s connection to Glen Gordon Manor. Growing up, she used to play there with her childhood friend whose parents had previously owned the property. I thought that was really something special.
