Xay and Anthony were on the hunt for the most memorable wedding location and as photographers, we know that venues with history are the best kind. For their wedding, I captured their moments at Union Mills Homestead , where the immense amount happiness was inevitable as Xay walked down the isle to greet Anthony’s reaction that spoke volumes..

Personally, I really can’t say enough about this couple, they’re the kind of people that make you feel good just by being in the same room as them. They are both creative and forward thinking yet humble, an infectious sense of self that we love to work with.

There’s that old cheesy saying “A photograph is worth a thousand words,” but man, it’s so true. When you tell your friends and family that you got engaged, the first thing everyone asks is “How did they do it? Was it a surprise? What did you say?” Chelsea & Vanessa’s on the spot engagement pictures answer it, no words needed. When Vanessa asked us to be part of this huge surprise, we knew we had to say yes. She set up a sign at the end of the iconic Maryland’s Symphony of lights. They drove through the whole course while we hid out in the field. It was freezing but so worth at it. Chelsea’s face is priceless. So a photo isn’t worth a thousand words…it’s priceless. Congrats to you Chelsea & Vanessa!

One of the really cool parts about being a wedding photographer is seeing all the different couples styles. Even though we -lets just say- “know our way around a rustic wedding”, each and every single one offers something new, something exciting, that’s indicative of that bride and groom’s personality. Taylor & Forest wedding was no different. We loved shooting their wedding at the Brookmere Winery. They had the most beautiful blue skied day, and all the exposed wood, crops, and outbuildings gave their wedding that awesome tangible farm feel that we love. Congrats Taylor & Forrest! There is just something about the natural beauty of old wood and a surrounding forrest that make a location perfect for tying the knot. Whitney and Jamie were married at the Union Mills Homestead. Rob & Sara’s wedding at Swan Harbor Farm was so exciting for us. Not only are they such kind people, but their venue was a new one for us. It was like uncharted territory. From endless crop fields to that charming Maryland waterfront, this place had some incredible grounds. Rob & Sara exchanged probably the sweetest vows ever written AND there was a surprise visit from Slapshot (Go Caps!). It’s not every day you get to dance with a giant hockey eagle… It’s not every day you get married! Congrats to Rob & Sara!
